Uninstalling IE & BETA
Wednesday, March 15th, 2006The other day I needed to test something in IE 6 and realized that I had the BETA for IE 7 installed and couldn’t find where to uninstall it.
Thanks to Paul Trani I now know how to uninstall IE 7 BETA.
Follow the same steps to uninstall any software but you have to make sure of one small thing.
- Open the Add/Remove Software Dialog (Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove Software).
- Make sure you have ‘Show updates’ checked.
- Scroll Down in the list until you find the IE 7 Preview item.
- Click Uninstall. YAY!

Microsoft Releases Internet Explorer 7 BETA
